In October 2015, our project took off under the name Action Fitness, and we proudly launched our first location in Medellín, Colombia. Within just a year, we had four operational branches up and running throughout the city.
We hit the Return on Investment (ROI) bullseye in only 9 months.
We opened up our eighth location in the city of Medellín
We were fielding acquisition offers from the top 2 chains in LATAM.
In 2019, we opened locations in the cities of Bogotá and Barranquilla.
We currently have 21 operational locations in Colombia's major cities.
We became the third-largest gym chain in Colombia.
Action fitness partners with Smart Fit, the world's third-largest gym chain, to operate franchises in Colombia.
We introduced a new, one-of-a-kind business model to the market called Action Black, and within just one year, this brand opens its seventh location in Colombia.
We solidified our position as Colombia's largest boutique gym chain.
Action Black makes its debut in the markets of Mexico, Europe, and the United States.
Action Black introduces new brands to include a much broader market within the wellness industry: Action Living, Reset, Giro+, Action Sport Club, and Action Wear.
After two years of possibly facing the greatest and most challenging ordeal of our lives, looking back, the pandemic compelled us to think outside the box, strengthen ourselves, and craft what had never been done before. That's where Action Black and its model came into existence.
