How often should I attend?

We recommend training at least 4 days a week to maximize results. Our classes last for 1 hour, and you can burn up to 1000 calories in each session.

Do you offer trial classes?

Do you offer private sessions for groups or corporate partnerships?

Are children and pets allowed on the premises?

For safety reasons, our current policy does not allow entry for individuals under 18 years old. However, your pet is welcome as long as you use the designated areas for them. If your pet is considered a dangerous breed, they must wear a muzzle at all times within the premises for the safety of all users and other pets.

Can I leave my bicycle inside the facilities?

Bicycles, scooters, and other lightweight means of transportation are not allowed inside our venues.

What if I am pregnant or have just had a baby?

First of all, congratulations on this exciting moment in your life!. It's essential to take extra precautions for your training program. As most of our modalities involve high impact exercises, it is necessary to consult and obtain written certification from your physician or healthcare professional before participating in our training. Additionally, you should inform your trainer before starting each class, so they can modify high-impact exercises and adapt your routine to minimize risks. If you were already a member of Action Black, you can freeze your plan at no cost during the first trimester of your pregnancy and up to three months postpartum.

What is the minimum age to join Action Black?

Can I attend classes at any location or branch?

With any of our memberships purchased in the United States, you can access all our classes and all our international locations without any limit. For residents in other countries, please note that you cannot access our U.S. branches for more than two weeks.

How many calories can I actually burn?

Our classes are designed to help you burn up to 1000 calories, but keep in mind that the number of calories burned can vary depending on your level and intensity of training, physical condition, the type of class, and your biological conditions.

Why do the days of the week focus on different muscle groups?

By changing the targeted muscle group in each session, we ensure that you work all muscle groups in your body, avoiding excessive exhaustion or overloading of a single muscle group. Additionally, adequate rest and recovery time lead to more effective, faster, and safer results.

Requirements and Memberships

Is it necessary to provide a medical certificate to join the gym?

At Action Black, your well-being is our priority. While presenting a medical certificate is not mandatory to join the gym, we always recommend consulting with a healthcare professional before starting any training program. Our team will be happy to advise and customize the workouts according to your individual needs. Your safety and progress are crucial to us! However, if you have any special health conditions such as epilepsy, heart surgeries, coronary diseases, hypertension, joint surgeries or injuries, brain surgeries, vertigo, fibromyalgia, or dysautonomia, you must have a medical certificate that approves engaging in high-impact physical activity before starting your training with us.

How does the unlimited membership work?

With the unlimited plan, you can access all our classes in different modalities as much as you want throughout the day. Additionally, you can use our showers and changing rooms, towels, soap, shampoo, hairdryer, and other amenities at your disposal. You can also invite a friend to train with you once a week. Remember to register your friend's attendance in advance through the application or by contacting our customer support. *Subject to availability. The loan of gloves, cycling shoes, and lockers are entirely free.

What is a ticket entry plan?

In addition to our plans, you have the option to purchase a ticket pack, which provides entry to individual classes. Each ticket is valid for one class.

What is the difference between a ticket entry plan and a membership?

With our memberships, you can access unlimited classes every day, while ticket entry packs offer a fixed number of entries that you purchased. One ticket equals one class.

Can I freeze my membership?

All memberships can be frozen for up to 30 days. If you need to freeze it for a longer period, you must provide a medical certificate indicating the temporary suspension of physical activity. In case all clubs are closed due to confinement or government guidance, all memberships will be automatically frozen.

Can I share or transfer classes or an unlimited plan?

You cannot share your membership, but you can transfer the plan in case you are unable to train permanently. There is a fee of $100 USD for transferring the plan. For ticket entry packs, you can transfer the tickets as long as they are used in the same club where they were purchased.

First Day, Training Level, and Physical Condition

What should I do on my first day?

On your first day, it's important to feel comfortable. Wear sportswear, arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled class to get acquainted with our club, store your personal belongings in the lockers, and familiarize yourself with the location of each training modality, bathrooms, showers, and common areas. You can also enjoy a coffee, claim your personal towel, and settle into your training spot without rushing.

Can I train at Action Black if I am a beginner or not in shape yet?

At Action Black, you don't need prior experience to train. With our semi-personalized training, coaches will guide you throughout the process, providing the necessary support to make you feel comfortable and secure.

I haven't done HIIT before or don't feel in shape, will I be okay?

Absolutely! At Action Black, we understand that everyone progresses at their own pace. Our workouts are adaptable to your physical condition. Our team of coaches is trained to modify exercises if necessary. If you are new to HIIT or don't feel in shape, you are in the right place. We will provide you with the support and motivation you need to feel confident and achieve your goals safely.

Reservations and Cancellations

How can I make a reservation and how far in advance?

Go to RESERVATIONS on the main menu of the website, select the location, date, studio, and training spot. You can also download our application for easier and faster booking. Reservations can be made up to 24 hours before the class through the app or the website.

Can I cancel my reservation?

Our cancellation policy allows you to cancel your reservation without any additional cost up to 6 hours before the class start time. If you fail to cancel within the specified time, the following conditions apply:

Tickets: You will lose the session, meaning you lose the ticket.
All our memberships: A charge of $5 USD per cancelled reservation outside the specified time will be applied, whi ch will be charged to your registered card.

What if I arrive late to a session?

Warm-up is of utmost importance, as it prepares your cardiovascular system for physical exertion, ensuring you have a safe and effective class. If you arrive 5 minutes after the class has started, your spot will be automatically released for someone on the waiting list. We recommend always arriving 10 minutes early to prepare and start your class on time.

What is the waiting list?

The waiting list is an option for those who wish to attend a fully booked class. If the class you're interested in has no available spots, you can join the waiting list. If someone cancels their reservation, you will be notified, and you may take their place. Please note that being on the waiting list does not guarantee entry to the class.

How do I add myself to the waiting list?

When a class is full at the time of booking, you will see an option to join the waiting list.

Can I reschedule my reservation?

You must cancel your initial reservation first and then choose a new one. Please be mindful of the cancellation policy.

What if I miss a class?

Do I need to bring gloves, cycling shoes, or a towel?

You only need to come in comfortable clothing, with the best attitude and energy. We provide all necessary equipment for your training. We offer gloves, cycling shoes, and towels for free to ensure you have the best experience.

Do you have a free weight area?

Yes, we have a zone called “The Garage,” where you can tone your body and increase your muscle mass independently with high-end conventional equipment that adapts to your ergonomics.

Do you have lockers?

Yes! We have locker zones to make you feel more comfortable and secure during each class, where you can store your personal belongings.

Do I need to bring my own boxing gloves for the classes?

It's not necessary; we provide clean gloves for you to use, ensuring the best training experience. However, if you wish, you can purchase new gloves at our club.

Is a towel required to enter the classes?

Yes, towels are mandatory during the class. Don't forget to claim your towel before entering the studio.

How do I cancel my membership?
